Localization
Localized App Store Metadata Workflow
Localization is more than translation. A good localized listing adapts user intent, category words, proof points, and screenshots to each market. Start with a source message map, then localize title, subtitle, keywords, description, screenshot copy, privacy text, and support pages together.
Market intent
Different markets search with different words. A productivity app may be described as planner, organizer, to-do list, memo, workflow, or study tracker depending on locale. Research local phrasing before translating literally.
Consistency
Keep features, pricing, and privacy promises consistent across languages. If a screenshot headline changes, make sure the visible UI and description still support the same claim.
