iPad App Store Screenshots for Universal Apps

iPad screenshots should not be enlarged iPhone screens. Users expect more space, more context, and a reason to install the app on a tablet. Show dashboards, split views, canvas workflows, file handling, keyboard shortcuts, or side-by-side editing when the app supports them.

Use the canvas

A tablet screenshot has room for proof. Add real data, previews, before-and-after states, or multi-panel layouts. Avoid huge marketing text that hides the app interface.

Workflow clarity

If the iPad version adds value, show the difference. Point to drag-and-drop, Apple Pencil, external keyboard, large reports, or teacher/student classroom modes.
