App Store Launch Assets Folder Structure
A messy launch folder creates avoidable mistakes. Keep screenshots, metadata, privacy documents, icon files, promo copy, directory submissions, and review notes in one predictable structure. This makes it easier to hand off to contractors, update a listing, or relaunch after a rejection.
Folder map
Create folders for screenshots, App Store metadata, legal, Product Hunt, social posts, directory submissions, and archive. Add a README with the app name, bundle ID, support URL, privacy URL, and current build number.
Version control
When metadata changes, save dated versions. Do not overwrite final screenshots without keeping the source file, export size, and copy notes.
