Age rating looks routine until the answers conflict with the app experience. Before submission, review content access, user-generated content, web views, AI output, medical or financial references, purchases, and account features. The rating should describe what users can actually encounter.
Sensitive areas
Apps with AI generation, health advice, web browsing, social features, or user content need extra care. If content can vary, explain safeguards and moderation in review notes.
Consistency
Age rating, screenshots, category, and description should not contradict each other. If the app is a child-facing education app, privacy and account flows need especially careful review.
